What Happens Next
- If you meet all the requirements for your program (and space is still available), an acceptance letter will be mailed/couriered to you. If additional information is required, such as a portfolio, an audition or a questionnaire, it may take more time to assess and process your application.
- If your proficiency in English does not meet the standards for your program, Humber may issue you a Conditional Acceptance. This allows you to begin your studies in English at Humber in the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program, and then continue on to your desired program upon successful completion of Level 8. (Undergraduate Certificate or Diploma - 60%; Bachelor's Degree - 75%; Postgraduate Certificate - 80%)
- As soon as you have your Acceptance Letter*, you should contact the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate to request the application for your Study Permit and Temporary Resident Visa (if necessary). For more information visit www.cic.gc.ca.
- Your acceptance package will include a Confirmation Letter indicating a date by which you must confirm your spot in the program. If you do not confirm your place in the program before the deadline date, your place may be given to another applicant.
- The Acceptance Letter will also indicate a deadline date for payment of fees. If you fail to pay your fees by that date, you may lose your spot in the program and a late fee payment will be added.
* Humber's admissions' process is competitive; an offer of acceptance is not guaranteed.
